Few posts

Over the last few weeks and for the next few months I will probably not be posting too many as I have alot of coursework and revision to do for my GCSE’s.

When I say alot, I mean ALOT. At the moment I have Media Studies to hand in on Wed 30th Jan and also English to hand in Thu 7th Feb. I also have Drama stuff to do where I have to write down all my lighting designs and set up the lighting program for before Easter.

So because of school work, there will not be much posted on here. One thing I will however post on here is alot of stuff on Sweeney Todd, our school production, in which I am doing the lighting for.

I hope to see you at Sweeney Todd! (See a previous post for more details)

Rerigged our lighting today

Well today I have been at school for longer than most as I was helping to rerig our drama lighting rig. It was very interesting and now we are all set for Sweeney Todd in a couple of weeks.

We finished rigging at about 7 pm. But we finally got it done. There was four of us. We set up the scaffolding and once it was set up I went up to the control room where we needed to plug in each of the lights that were needed so we could focus them.

I enjoyed it alot, and am looking forward to actually using the rig on Tuesday in my Drama lesson.

Sweeney Todd

The schools Musical Sweeney Todd is fast approaching.

Rehearsals are well under way. Jason Sinclair and I are doing the lighting for the musical. It will be a very good show, one not to be missed.

It is on on the 5th 6th and 7th of February. The price will be £3 for adults and £2 for children. It starts at 7pm.

Please come along if you can make it. It will be in the main school hall. Tickets are available now, from Miss Johnson in the Curriculum Support Office. So if you phone Redruth School, they will be able to give you more details.

Although I will add a few more details on here when I find them out.
